Storytelling.
Storytelling can be a fun and creative activity, but it can also be used to help convey the value of a product. Check out some of my storytelling projects here!
Interactive Fiction
ABOUT
This is from the Time Studio 1: Story class at CCA taught by Kate Rutter. This is a choose-your-own-adventure style interactive game. It's based on my experience of learning how to drive: how I got my learner's permit, and how I proceeded from there. A fun twist on the story is that it's set in the Old West of the United States – hence the silly name "The Life and Death of Ye Old Learner's Permit" and goofy names in the game like "The Department of Horse-Drawn Vehicles."

REI Co-op Guide to the National Parks Comic
ABOUT
This is from the Time Studio 1: Story class at CCA taught by Kate Rutter. The goal here was to tell an "origin story" – in other words, how a new user discovers an app. I chose to base my comic and story on the REI Co-op Guide to the National Parks mobile app.

IoT Animatic
ABOUT
This was a project done in the IxD 1: Foundations class taught by Graham Plumb in fall of 2019. Here, I chose an existing IoT device – a smart watch for kids to communicate with parents and allow parents to keep track of their child's location – to base my video on. We were supposed to animate a video that shows a use case for the product we had chosen. I showed the benefit that a young boy and his mom get from using this watch.

The Return to Earth
ABOUT
This is a choose-your-own-adventure style game set in a dystopian, future world. The Earth has become uninhabitable in the recent past; you, a human who has grown up on a space colony, are being sent to Earth – now a barren and desolate wasteland – to complete a mission. Will you make it back to space?
